Let’s get started. The intake session is our first full session together.

Chris, A smiling man with curly hair sitting on a wooden bench outdoors, wearing a gray cardigan, white T-shirt, blue jeans, and white sneakers, surrounded by green plants.

I know what it’s like to be stuck.

I have faced the deaths of those closest to me. I have been broken physically. I have been broken monetarily. I have been trapped in dead end jobs. I have had my heart broken in relationships. If there is a hole to one can fall into in life, I’m certain I’ve stumbled into it.

And, every time, I found a way out. Every time, I found a way forward. Through each trial, I have built a life that is my own. I have created a life that I enjoy and that I am proud of. It takes grit when there is nothing left. It takes resilience when there are no more resources. It takes guidance when there is no clear path in sight.

The biggest help I found was from wise counselors, brothers, and mentors; men who have been on the path already. Not someone on a stage or a podcast preaching their survivorship bias or telling others how things and people should be when they’ve manipulated everyone around them. Real progress requires getting one’s hands dirty in life. It requires mentors not judging a man for where he “should” be, but getting down in the trenches with him and finding a way forward. It is my gift and my pleasure to pay back all the men that helped me find a way forward by stepping into their shoes and helping those where I once was. I am a counselor because I know how hard life can be, and how few men are out there that can truly help.
